Thanks for your attention today. The goal of the program is to help Safe Community coalition members, including traffic engineers, and senior advocates better understand the basic traffic safety challenges facing drivers age 70 and older. Do the roadways in your community accommodate older driver physical and psychological needs? Is your community easy or difficult to navigate? This presentation will help answer these basic questions. And, it will provide some direction for addressing the traffic safety needs of older drivers.
